Targets and Achievements Snapshot

Our targets and goals for the reporting period were set to align with our values and our impacts, taking into account the material interests of our stakeholders. Given our growth and rapid change in the business environment for CSR, our goals and targets have been the subject of periodic review. These reviews were conducted in consultation with employees through workshops held in September 2007 and September 2008. On both occasions we used an external facilitator from the Nous Group.

In 2007, we set goals related to business improvement, including improving workshop and consulting evaluation processes and business-level, project-level and individual performance. In 2008, we set further goals relating to professional development. The key outcome of this was the appointment of an external mentor for consulting staff, Dr Alan Weiss.

We published eleven specific targets in our 2007 sustainability report. Figure 1 below charts our performance against these goals as well as the targets we aim to achieve for the next reporting period 2009-2011.
