Introduction to CSR

November 1st | Melbourne

9.30am – 12.30pm

  • Are you ready for the new era of end-to-end responsibility?
"It’s no longer good enough to do your job well, satisfy customers and generate financial returns. In the future you will be held accountable for the supplies you use and where they came from, what your customers do with their purchase and whether it improves their lives, and the costs and benefits to countries and communities touched along the way."

Rosabeth Moss-Kanter, Harvard Business Review, October 2010

Whether your aim is to increase brand value, recruit and retain quality staff or increase competitive advantage, a commitment to, and understanding of, corporate social responsibility is a must.

This half-day workshop introduces participants to the concept of corporate social responsibility and how it is practiced globally.

Using extensive case material from Australia and around the world, the differences in CSR between countries and cultures are explained, to illustrate the challenges of managing CSR at national and global levels.
